Some love stories really do come full circle — and Alina and Jonathan’s wedding day was exactly that for me.
I first met Alina and Jonathan while I was living in San Diego, and from the very beginning their connection was effortless, genuine, and full of warmth. Not long after, I had the honor of photographing their engagement session at the iconic Hotel del Coronado. The ocean breeze, golden light, and their natural chemistry made that session unforgettable — and I remember thinking then how special their wedding day would be.
## A Full-Circle Wedding Moment
Fast forward to December 18, 2025 — and here we were, back in San Diego, this time for their wedding day. A true full-circle moment. I happily made the 8-hour drive to capture their love story as it entered this next chapter, and it was worth every mile.
Their wedding took place at **La Casa de Estuella**, a stunning outdoor venue with rustic charm and timeless character. Surrounded by natural textures, warm tones, and open skies, the setting felt both romantic and welcoming — the perfect backdrop for an intimate celebration.
## An Intimate & Meaningful Ceremony
Alina and Jonathan chose to keep their ceremony intimate, and that intentionality made every moment feel even more special. From the quiet anticipation before walking down the aisle to the emotion shared during their vows, the ceremony was heartfelt, personal, and deeply meaningful.
There’s something incredibly powerful about smaller weddings — every glance, every laugh, every tear is felt just a little bit more. Their love filled the space, and it was an honor to witness it so closely.
## San Diego Will Always Feel Like Home
San Diego will always hold a special place in my heart, and being back to photograph a couple I’ve known since my time living there made this day even sweeter. From engagement photos at the Coronado Hotel to a wedding celebration surrounded by loved ones, Alina and Jonathan’s journey has been such a joy to document.
