This mini session at Hillcrest Tree Farm in Reedley was so cozy, festive, and full of genuine happiness — the perfect session to kick off the holiday season. Brittney reached out to book a 25-minute mini, and just a few days before the shoot, she and her partner got engaged, which made this session even more special.
Hillcrest Tree Farm is one of my favorite places for winter photos in the Central Valley. The Christmas trees, warm tones, and soft lighting create the prettiest backdrop for couples, families, and engagement sessions. It’s peaceful, tucked away, and feels like a little winter escape right in Reedley.
Since Brittney and her fiancé were recently engaged, we incorporated plenty of sweet moments together as well as photos highlighting her beautiful ring. The way they smiled at each other the entire session made everything feel so natural and effortless. Even in a short 25-minute mini, they brought so much personality and joy — making it easy to capture a mix of candid, romantic, and classic holiday photos.
We wandered through the rows of trees, found some perfect pockets of light, and created images that feel warm, timeless, and true to who they are as a couple. Their energy was so fun and connected, and you can truly see the excitement of their new engagement in every photo.
